The Client

Hungary’s longest-running and market-leading student employment cooperative. Since 1983, it has been offering students relevant job opportunities and providing companies with young, driven, and enthusiastic talent.

The Event

Sneakerness Budapest is the Hungarian edition of the legendary European sneaker and streetwear exhibition, taking place in November at Millenáris. It’s not just a marketplace, it’s an inspiring platform at the intersection of sneakers, fashion, art, and music. The event features international icons, rap performances, street art, and Culture Street talks, alongside a wide range of vendor booths, vintage pieces, limited-edition sneakers, and a strong sense of community.

The Mission

Meló-Diák set out to appear on a platform where it could connect with the 18–24 age group through authentic, experience-driven engagement, not with job offers or direct recruitment, but through attractive and credible brand interaction opportunities.

The Solution

We created a bold yet cost-effective presence with a high-traffic location, an engaging darts activation that drew the most visitors, and a custom street culture visual identity that matched the vibe of the event. As a standout feature, we showcased our own Meló-Diák x Air Jordan 1 custom sneaker, which visitors could win by participating at the booth.

The Result

Nearly 400 people registered for the giveaway, and over 500 visitors took part in the activation across the two-day event. The biggest draw was the custom-designed Air Jordan 1, which anyone could win by participating in the darts game. Organic reach was amplified by influencer engagement, Backpack Kid (1.3M on Instagram, 3.7M on TikTok) featured the booth in an IG story, while Rekál (157K on YouTube, 153K on Instagram) joined the game with his partner. As the only player from the student employment sector at the event, it was especially important for Meló-Diák to show up strong and it did. The brand’s presence was not only bold and relevant, but it also sparked real connection with its core audience
